What Whirlpool makes
Whirlpool’s US home lineup spans twelve categories, repaired here under the same roof: washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, freezers, ice makers, ice machines, range hoods and trash compactors. Whirlpool builds dependable, mainstream appliances for everyday households, and identifying a specific unit by its model number speeds up any repair. Browse every category from the links below or identify your unit in the model library. We are an independent, third-party service and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Whirlpool Corporation.
Laundry and refrigeration
Whirlpool washers come as top-load WTW machines with the 2-in-1 Removable Agitator and Deep Water Wash and front-load WFW machines with Load & Go™ XL and Steam, and dryers as electric WED and gas WGD models with AccuDry sensing and the Wrinkle Shield option. Whirlpool refrigerators read by configuration — French-door WRF, side-by-side WRS and top-freezer WRT — with EveryDrop™ Water filtration, FreshFlow™ air care and Accu-Chill™ temperature management, while standalone freezers are frost-free WZF uprights and convertible WZC chest models.
Cooking and dishwashing
Whirlpool ranges pair a cooktop with a self-cleaning oven in electric WFE and gas WFG/WEG forms with FlexHeat™ dual elements and Frozen Bake™, while wall ovens come as single WOS, double WOD and combination WOC builds and cooktops as radiant WCE, gas WCG and induction WCI surfaces. Whirlpool dishwashers are built-in WDT, WDF and WDP units with a third-level rack, Sani Rinse and the AccuSense soil sensor, and Whirlpool range hoods are WVU under-cabinet, WVW chimney and UXT FIT-System builds.
Ice and compaction
Two categories are worth knowing before you buy parts. Whirlpool ice machines are 15-inch undercounter residential units (WUI Clear Ice Technology and legacy Gold GI15) rather than standalone commercial machines — Whirlpool does not build a modular commercial ice machine, so we say that plainly. The automatic ice maker built into a refrigerator or freezer is a different module, serviced as part of refrigeration work. And Whirlpool trash compactors are a dying category: the GX, GC and TU units are sporadically stocked while the TC8700 and TF8500 families are legacy, parts-only machines.
The thread that defines Whirlpool
Across every category Whirlpool’s promise is the same — practical, durable, mainstream appliances — which is why identifying the appliance first, through its model number, points a technician at the right genuine OEM part. Our experienced, independent technicians service every Whirlpool appliance regardless of age, including discontinued and legacy units. If your appliance is showing a fault, start with the error-code library, and when you are ready, book a repair and our team will confirm the next available visit.
